Why should I have my gutters cleaned?

Regular gutter cleaning is an essential part of home maintenance. When gutters are blocked water can overflow back into eaves and ceilings causing costly repairs. Leaves can flow into water tanks and also pose a bushfire threat. Prevention is the best cure.

​​How do you clean the gutters?​​​


We access the gutter from the roof by means of a ladder. Gutters are then scraped by hand, blown out and hosed when necessary. We also clear all downpipes and clean up all leaf and dirt mess on the ground.



How do you work safely?


Ladders are strapped off in accord with OH&S requirements and self levelling feet are used to stabilise the ladder. When working on the roof great caution is taken and all our vehicles have a roof safety harness kit to avoid any accidents and comply with OH&S. We also do not work in the rain as we feel this is unsafe.



​​How often should i get my gutters cleaned?​


There are many factors that determine how often you should get your gutters cleaned. Dense trees can mean some properties need to be cleaned 4 times a year. But most people have their gutters cleaned every 6 months. We will advise you how often we feel they need to be cleaned when we clean your place.
